NEW YORK, Nov. 24 _ Markets Media, the first stop for forward-looking daily online news and analysis, has welcomed several new speakers to its impressive list of Global Markets Summit participants.
Mark Rzepczynski, managing partner at Lakewood Partners, will moderate a panel called “Effects of Currency Fluctuation” on Dec. 10 at 1 p.m. Frederick Allatt, vice president at Bank of America FX Prime Brokerage, and Simon J. Wilson-Taylor, executive vice president and head of State Street’s Global Link, will join Rzepczynski on the timely panel discussion.
Rzepczynski joined Lakewood Partners after serving as president and chief investment officer at John W. Henry, a global investment manager that specializes in futures and foreign exchange, where he oversaw research and trading functions. He joined John W. Henry in April 1998 as director of Research and Trading. He previously worked at Fidelity’s fixed income unit as vice president and director of Taxable Credit and Quantitative Research and served as senior economist at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Markets Media has confirmed Allatt of Bank of America, Wilson-Taylor of State Street, Marc Chandler, head of Currency Strategy at Brown Brothers Harriman, and Steven Englander, chief foreign exchange strategist at Barclays Capital, as speakers on the currency panel.
In addition, Markets Media on Friday added Sam Hocking, co-global head of prime brokerage sales at BNP Paribas, to speak on a hedge fund panel called “Battered by the Crisis” on Dec. 11 at 1:30 p.m.
