Forex Hedge Fund Manager Registration Webinar

The NFA just announced that it will post a webinar for those CPOs and CTAs who file their disclosure documents electronically through the NFA’s system.  Once forex hedge fund registration, and forex registration in general, is required (expected later this year) the webinar will also apply to those forex CPOs and forex CTAs who are submitting disclosure documents.

NFA announces Web seminar to help CPOs and CTAs file disclosure documents electronically

The CFTC recently proposed to amend its rules to require CPOs and CTAs to file their disclosure documents with NFA electronically. NFA expects that the rules will become effective in early 2009.

CPOs and CTAs may now voluntarily file their disclosure documents using NFA’s new DDOC filing system. To help CPOs and CTAs understand how to file their disclosure documents using this system, NFA will hold a Web seminar on Thursday, January 22, at 2:00 PM CST.

The Web seminar will offer CPOs and CTAs a step-by-step demonstration of how to file a disclosure document using NFA’s new DDOC filing system. NFA staff will also be available to answer questions from seminar participants.

For those individuals who are unable to attend, the seminar will also be available for viewing from NFA’s Web site anytime after January 23.
