New Podcast Discusses CFTC Forex Proposal, Public Comments, and Registration Requirements
On April 5, Mallon P.C. released its first podcast which discusses the new CFTC proposed rules with respect to the off-exchange retail foreign exchange markets.
In the podcast, Bart Mallon and Kristina Maalouf of Mallon P.C. overview the four main proposals which, if passed, will have the greatest impact, positive and negative, on the Forex industry. These are the new registration requirements, minimum net capital requirement, reduction of leverage, and forex introducing broker guarantee requirement.
The podcast also discusses the comment letter which Mallon P.C. submitted to the CFTC in response to the Proposal and gives an overview of some of the important public comments submitted to the CFTC.
